    Founding Father Proof: 192,000

    Founding Father UNC: 58,000

    Scientist proof: 142,000

    Scientist UNC = 108,000

    The 1984 PDS uncirculated Olympic dollars have fairly low minatges too, but the prices are also low. To answer my own question, probably not.

    I think the numbers for the these combined (all mint marks) for the 84 Olympiad unc was around 450K struck

    All the 96 Olympiad unc coins had really small strikes and I think they list well above the proofs, but I don't think either case is a good guage...I think the '84 pop was much higher and the '96 olympiads were alot lower then these Franklin #s

    If you think that the Franklins will only move up in price as silver rises, then how do you explain the 2001 Buffalos with mintages of 272,889 proof, and 227,131 MS selling for $200-250 graded?

    Compared to most modern commemoratives, Franklin is still a highly popular figure. The 'Founding Father' coin is attractive and with mintage of the MS at 58,000 it should be a winner.
