Anybody played with this old thing?

Among other features, it gets rid of "private"
notations on auctions. You should be able to
see a list of the "private" bidders' names
during the auction; this can reveal patterns
in bidders' activities. (eBay uses a much more
powerful version of this software to search
for potential shill bidders.)

Also, "ends" private feedback.

Seems like a helpful page - I can't believe Ebay allows something that reveals private feedback, though. I wish I could think of a few private feedback sellers right now to try it out.

It works !

I am surprised.

Most of the bids are expressed in Pounds.

Kept in the toolbar, this will be handy from time to time.

If any people can think of other features that
would be useful, the goofbay software gurus say they
will try to implement solutions.

There has never been a such thing as private feedback on Ebay. All making feeback private does is make it harder to get to it, but if you have the time you can find out any feebdack they have left or recieved.

If shilling behind private auctions has been a
problem, this program is going to make the

You could probably search for "PRO" or "52 Mantle" and find a bunch of private sellers.

Already tried the 52 Mantle route ! It was a no go surprisingly enough, I'll have to try PRO next.

That's very interesting. I was just recently working on a Miva module that allows you to list items from a Miva store on ebay, and in doing so had to go through the ebay developer certification process. They stress that no software that connects to ebay's API should be used to reveal or mine confidential data, which I have to think this does. Still, it's a good tool, though. What's the point of feedback if people can't read it? Percentages only tell you so much.
