Here's my 1870 Assay Commission medal; the first one I obtained. This is one of the more "common" ACM's, with probably somewhere between 150-250 pieces existing.
Special piece in that I went to school at the University of Bridgeport and some of the school's buildings were actually winter residences for P.T and company. Met and married my bride there and both of our children were born in Bridgeport. Have actually toured the Barnum Museum numerous times as part of grade school activities with our kids. Our daughter was selected from her school twice to be their Lavinia representative in the annual Barnum Festival.
If I had to pick "one" coin, it would be the one imaged directly below. It's my first, and only, non-bullion gold coin and it was minted 100 years before I was.
IfI had to pick a "set" of coins, it would be those in the image below. My collection of Gold, Platinum, Palladium, and Silver bullion coins from around the world.
I collect the elements on the periodic table, and some coins. I have a complete Roosevelt set, and am putting together a set of coins from 1880.

That is a fantastic shot of the 1914 Lincoln, how many tries did it take to get perfection? Wow.
