exhibit card submission question

Do exhibit cards fit in tall boys or are they considered supersized cards. I was wanting to submit a few under the June Collector's Club special, and wasn't sure if these would be excluded or not.

Thanks!

Tall boys are what I thought too...however when I called customer service earlier today the guy said they were supersized. He asked me twice to repeat what kind of card I was talking about, so he might have been a bit confused??

  • I just got my grades for some cards which included Hank Aaron Exhibit NOT HOLDERED - NO HOLDER AVAILABLE. I just called them and was told that they don't holder exhibit cards anymore!!! What's up with that!!!
  • Just send 'em in. The kids in customer service are mostly clueless.

They sent mine back No Holder Available, and when I called they said they don't grade Exhibits any more because there are too many counterfeits. I didn't think it would help if I explained that it was their job to tell me if it was counterfeit or not (once I paid them). That "A" stands for something...
No such details will spoil my plans...

Only a chimp can't tell the difference between the authentic and reprinted/counterfeited exhibit cards if you know anything about exhibit cards. The differences are night and day and I think PSA would be throwing away money not grading them for that reason.

If a grader at PSA is getting fooled by these exhibit cards, they need better graders as that is absolutely pathetic.

    fdny-

How long ago did you send yours in to be holdered? Maybe this refusal is a brand new development?

I just had a Berra and an Aaron get graded about 3-4 weeks ago...why are they now not grading them?? I had a submission of about 15 ready to send in in cluding some exhibits from the 20's!!! Maybe someone at PSA can respond to this thread and verify??? Carol, PLEASE HELP...let us know the "real deal"!!! image

HELP!! Can anyone at PSA verify this?? Do they or don't they grade Exhibit cards anymore???
  • I know they haven't graded football exhibits in a long time because the reason they gave me was that they can't tell the difference between a real one and a fake one. Maybe this policy has carried over to baseball or the CSR/Grader or whoever was dealing with your card got confused.

  • PSA ONLY grades and authenticates Baseball Exhibit cards.
We are not handling any other exhibit cards at this time.

I will bring this issue up with the customer service manager to go over in their next meeting to clarify what an Exhibit Card is, etc.

  • Wow. Now thats how to get results......
  • Thanks Carol - also maybe PSA can make another category for counterfeits when they return the grades/cards. I recently got NOT HOLDERED - NO HOLDER AVAILABLE for my Hank Aaron EHIBIT....but have since been told by PSA that it was counterfeit? Doesn't make much sense...

    Thanks Carol! image

I kinda figured they graded the Baseball still (since I just got some back a short time ago). Maybe the CS reps. need an updated list to quote to customer's as far as what is or is not graded by PSA?
