how to warn bidders on a probable bad listing?

Hi guys,

I just saw this listing, which looks like it is probably bogus. Bad feedback on the seller, and most of his positive feedback is from brand new ebayers (all telling you to "ignore his negative feedback" - funny how several different buyers would tell you the same thing?).

I just want to warn the potential buyers about this, and report to ebay. I can't track down where the scan may have come from though. Does anyone recognize the Jordan rookie in this pic?

Be careful - eBay doesn't look too kindly on those who shout fraud to bidders in a bad listing. They consider it restraint of trade and could end up giving you the boot instead.

The best way to "warn people" is to report the listing
to eBay as soon as you find it.

There is a "consumer site" called cleanupebay.com. You
can now post "suspicious listings" in their forum. They
claim they will begin "bulk submissions" of such listings
    soon.

Cert Number 06003049 matches the card in the picture.

  • That cert # does look familiar, but I don't know where I've seen it before...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

<< <i>Very close cert number to this >>

Interesting how cert # 06003051 from this link is an old style PSA label, but # 06003049 is a new style. Cert # might match the card, but something else doesn't seem right about that.
  • here's a chance for that other guy from the other thread to finally get his jordan psa 9 rookie card... anyone notify him yet?
