Besides the fact that your links are done wrong... the forum posts do not allow for html codes... use [IMG] and [/IMG] tags for your images

Thx for the assistance, MS70.....Is there a specific link on imageshack.us that I need to use...they give you 10 different options (see below)...Can u recommend a site that hosts images that i can post more easily? I want to get involved, but my computer skills are a little shaky...THx

Well, you guys are pretty damn good...unlike myself

Actual grades by PCGS were MS62 & AU58, respectively....Congrats techeff, you were the closest

Ajia, you were the furthest off, but I like the way you think.....I thought the 1908 was better than the 1912 as well

Now, the question is how did you all come to your determinations? What do we need to look for on these incuse type coins?
For the life of me, they basically look the same. Just shows you I have a lot to learn about grading!!!

Thx for your input all....Its much appreciated

And welcome to the insane asylum... image

  • Oh, you have a question...

I based my response on my limited knowledge of the series, strike based on the year, and overall condition. These are really hard to grade, especially by pics. Many times these will have light scratches that will limit the grade... Post more gold!

Edit: That 1908 probably would've gone 63 if it had great luster, which is important with these, IMO.

lkrarecoins, When using Image Shack use the "Direct link to image". Right click and copy it, then come back here to where you're making a post. Click on the 4th box
from the left (little picture frame thingy), and then paste the link into the pop-up box. Click on "OK" and the link will be inserted into your post.

    Or-

Simply type [IMG]paste direct link here/IMG (the /IMG has to also be in brackets but if I put it in brackets here you'll see a red x)

    Either way works.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
