Regardless of what grade pcgs would give it- that seems like a modest price for owning a cool 18th dollar coin- I would guess that the surfaces aren't original, but they still look pretty attractive......

Thanks for the responses and I agree with all of you. Sending it is a gamble and I also wonder why it isn't already in a top tier TPG slab if it were in original(uncleaned) condition. I can't spot cleaning but I figured it had since it was sent to Sucky Evaluation Grading Service. I would love to find an uncleaned 1799 bust in VG-8

1799's that ARE original are the exception and not the rule. I vote PCGS will cross.

Is that a "dig" above the 2nd 9 in the date? If not, It'll probably cross, IMHO.

light cleaning is not so important and wont keep it out of a pcgs slab, I think there is a good chance the coin would cross. But is there a tooled area or some other not decernable problem from the image its not so easy to tell.
