I agree on the BC coin there is hardly any color at all.

NGC gave the Star to many Non deserving Battle Creek coins, However the coin is a Solid 65 and Much more lustrous than the pic indicates.

As for the Non BC 65 * coin I agree with the Star.
The Gun Metal Blue color Glows and has Nice eye appeal, but you can't really tell from my pic as I use diffused lighting to cancel out the glare from the slab.

I can vouch for (or against ) Scott's pictures. I have purchase many coins from him, and while the pictures need to be interpreted a bit sometimes, the coins are all there and worthy of the * designation.
