Please help with Oriental coin identification #1

I believe that this is a Japanese coin. It's 100 of a denomination minted in 1948...

It's a 100 yen from Japan. The 48 refers to the 48th year of the reign of Hirohito, which makes the coin a 1973 model I believe.
