I wanted that thing too, I was tempted to put a 1800 bid or so, but I would've been way off. Thats a super tough card, I've busted a ton of '85 leaf trying to get a PSA 9 Clemens... no dice
Nice card and all, and of course I'd love to have it. But that seems nuts that something from the 1980s can fetch $3,000. I'll take a '33 Goudey Ruth in a PSA 5 any day over that. True, the Clemens might be only a pop 3 in a PSA 10, but there are more unopened sets and boxes out there, so that population can surely rise. It just seems a bit extreme for a modern card.

Not that I'd want it as a BGS 10, but I wonder what one would have brought in BGS 10 Pristine grade??
