Just when I think I'm getting FB figured out...

There are MS69 dimes that AREN'T Full Band???
This causes me to have to possibly re-think the lower grades too

Unbelievable isn't it? I've actually passed on some nice coins, simply because of the no bands. There tends to be no money in it.

I was thinking an MS 65 Dime would be low end, and a ms 65FB Dime would be High End for the grade.
I've accepted the fact that 68/69 dimes have NO FB's. I just think that it is wrong, but what can you do when you grade these dimes for years, then add the FB designation.
There have been threads regarding this subject, you'll have to do a search.

Dang it.....I thought these grading companies were supposed to Help the sight unseen market
Just not completely full.
There is only one MS69 no band merc and it has about 70% bands if you go by the heritage photo.
