I didn't have kids until later in life. I wanted to build a good financial foundation first. Without a doubt, I believe I made the right move. However, I have one son Rocco who will be turning 3 years old this Wednesday and a wife who is expecting to deliver our daughter any day now.
The bottom line......
I'm getting too old for this!
Happy fathers day.

My wife is bringing me breakfast "in bed" - now at the computer as I type!
Happy Father's Day to all you other Fathers out there!

My father was neither a hero nor a role model.
For those of you men out there who had fathers who had fathers who took an active role in your formative years, gave you guidance and supported you - count your blessings EVERY DAY and BE SURE to tell your father THANK YOU, and not just because it's Father's Day today!
Some of us weren't so lucky.

I thank my lucky stars that my dad was the man he was, although we lost him to cancer when I was 14, in 1990. I take a trip to the cemetary every year since. Sucks you did not have one of the greats, but you made it this far, so you have done something right!!!!!
moose dog - i hear ya buddy.. a friend just told me that his dad, among other things, punched him in the face when he was six years old for spilling his orange juice.. talk about something to ruin your father's day..
everyone should be appreciative of what they have.. thanks for offering another perspective, moose dog..
