Yankees "All-Years" singed baseball Includes Rare Maris sig...

Hey guys, sorry to post this here if it's not appropriate, but I have a Yankees "All-years" signed baseball that I am wondering if anyone might be interested in or could give me some info on. The baseball has 21 total signatures including Roger Maris' which I think is a very rare signature according to the SMR. The ball was won at an auction years ago. It is an Official American League Ball with the following signatures that I can decipher:

Roger Maris
Joe DiMaggio
Yogi Berra
Don Larsen
Bob Grim
Hank Bauer
Bill "Moose" Skowron
Mickey Vernon
Allie Reynolds
Eddie Lopat
Bobby Richardson

Does anyone have a clue what this ball might be worth? If you might be interested in it please PM me or email me at mjmurphy31@aol.com.

I would suggest having it authenticated too. There are way too many fake Yankee balls floating around for anyone to take a chance.

  • Hey guys, sorry here are some scans of the ball in question. The ball is an Official American League Ball with Bobby Brown as the President. I have tried to scan the ball to see the sigs but I don't know how it will turn out. The overall condition of the ball is very good. It has some slight toning (yellowing) of the ball but not bad. There is no shellacing on the ball. Like I said there are 21 total sigs and I could identify about half of them. The majority of the signatures are still very bold although some have faded just slightly. I currently have 8 single-signed balls (Mantle, Williams, and DiMaggios's) being graded and authenticated by PSA/DNA as we speak, but I'm not sure what the demand for this kind of ball would be with so many random Yankee sigs. I guess my question would be, should I just get the Maris and DiMaggio sigs authenticated on the ball or should I pay to have all of the rest authenticated as well? Will this affect the overall value of the ball and if so how will it affect it? I have had this ball for a while and never realized that Maris had signed it and I didn't realize how rare his signature is compared to others. I would like to just get the Maris and DiMaggio sigs authenticated and maybe the Yogi Berra, but the rest I would think would not be worth the money to get authenticated unless it would significantly change the value of the ball if they were. Any advise anybody? Just get the whole thing authenticated or the 2 major sigs (Maris and DiMaggio)?

    Thanks,

    Matt
