Other alternatives to Ebay, Sportlots, and Burbanks

I am still looking for a few hard to find modern Cardinals cards. Are their any alternatives to Ebay, Sportlots.com, and Burbanks? I just found out about Sporlots.com this past week and just spent over $150 to fill my team set needs. I still need 10 cards that I can't find.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edited to say: I forgot to mention Southpaw cards. I have bought from their as well.

  • www.bidville.com is excellent

I have found several "singles" for those misc sets that I don't want to pay $3.00 shipping and 0.50 cents per card.

Most sellers will be happy to discuss bulk deals - and I have found every person to be a great hobbyist - maybe I've been lucky?

Edited to add - listings are free, so there's no postage gouging or "per card" adding to makeup for any "listing fees".

    BTW - ebay suximage

PM me your list. There is a local store that has 10's of thousands of Cardinals. I would be happy to stop by and check for you.

I just took a look at bidville.com. 31 graded hockey cards listed, of which about 25 were graded by GEM image

Site seems to be pretty slow, too. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon.
  • How about a local card show? I don't know if you have any in your area.

Card shows and other collectible shows can be very good,
but they are a lot of work to set-up and take-down. And,
the fees are high, if the venue is any good at all.

It is not uncommon for sellers to be put in the position of
having to do $600 + in gross-sales each day just to break
even on medium-sized city shows. That OFTEN means you
are just giving your stuff away for the first day or more.

30-hours ago, as a test, my friend listed one item on bidville.
The item usually sells pretty quick on eBay. When I just checked,
the item had received ZERO visitors. The monthly rent on a
bidville store is cheap, but the traffic seems not to be brisk.

Bidville listings are free and they give you two pictures per listing,
but if nobody is looking at your pictures.........

No shows in western KY. There are some small ones about an hour away every month, but not really worth going to in my opinion.

    Please explain.

  • What does the Sportlots site have? I went there today for the first time and it is down as it appears they are revamping the site.
