I thought it was a Jimmie Foxx issue - wasn't he nicknamed "Double X"?

  • One I found out is a Tinker and other is a Evers from T-206 the the other Chicago player I have yet to locate. Thanks for the direction to take on the strip cards. It is one card but you can see the top of another it was miscut from.

I think the cards you are talking about are strip cards. thet were issued from around 1915 into the 30's.

Many were cut up. Which is not a bad thing from what i remm.

  • Hello Thanks for posting those pics. They are not my cards. Some guy who foound me online due to FF versions goes to local auctions and bought 80 lbs of cards for $10 and sent to me to value/sell. He spent $50 to ship and basically said sell what you can and split 50/50. Trusting guy as he contcated me asked if he could send them and then he did. 11 Bill Ripken FF cards not mint though,a few Griffey and Johnson rookies,73 R Jackson,81 commons and a whole bunch of others. He was wondering what these tobacco cards might sell for. I found out there is Evers and Tinker but unsure on far right guy and other card. I tols him min. $50 on the 2 without knowing back or better pics for condition. Sound right? Probally more like $100? I asked if he can get another pic and pics of the backs for the T-206.

Thanks I didn't think of that. Perfect. Though I am not a PSA subscriber so I am unsure if I can like the pop reports.

  • Donovan,

I have a question for you. How much is a '89 Fleer Cello with the "Frank Face" variation go for? Are you the one selling those on eBay? I saw one seller wanted $39.00 for one and I think $18.00 for a black box variation cello pack. Is that you?
