Low to Mid grade '50 & '51 Bowman impulse purchase, how'd I do?

1951 Bowman #89 Henry Thompson PSA 3
1951 Bowman #114 Sam Zoldak PSA 4
1951 Bowman #144 Herman Wehmeier PSA 5

Total purchase price (not including shipping) was $28.13.

Let me start by saying that I am happy with the price of the purchase since the SMR on the Bauer alone is around $70.00. The '50 and '51 Bowman sets are future projects but when I saw this ending, I had to pull the trigger. I haven't been actively pricing early Bowman's because I wasn't planning on starting the sets any time soon so I don't know if mid grades sell far below SMR. Any thoughts or comments?

I think you did real well, but I do not have a preference for elite grades. The Bauer alone is a $40.00+ card, right? Thomspon was one of the first black major leaguers, I think he may have even played in '47 shortly after J. Robinson broke through. Nice cards, at a great price.

sounds nice to me!.. i can live with lower grade cards that look good..
