ROI by decade

Griffins made a bold statement in a post a few months ago...i couldnt find the exact post, but he basically said that collectors shouldnt expect cards produced after 1960 to increase in material value. I was surprised by the statement (not saying it's a false hypothesis), given that i have always felt that cards at least produced in the 60's would increase in value over the long run.
So, the assignment is to provide the percentage increase you think cards in each decade (in general...take the all the cards produced in that decade as a whole) will have in, say, the next 25 years. So, in 2031, when half of us are either dead or in a senior home clutching maniacally at our psa slabs, what will the market, by decade, look like? And provide which set(s) you think will have the highest and lowest percentage point change value (where applicable). For those of you who are not familiar with certain decades, choose the ones you are familiar with.

Being a "stock-picker," I have no wisdom of the
sets; except to say the market for high-grade,
SCARCE singles will always dwarf the market
for expensive/full sets.
Many folks want/will want a 1950-1960 Mantle card,
but many fewer will seek the full year sets. The same
logic applies to other star players, too.
Those who buy the right singles now, will be in a
position to decide how many sets are built in the
out decades.
Sets between 1950 and 1960, should "outperform."
