Whats the best regrade, crossover, crack and resubmit, crack and send to another company regrade anyone has ever had? I recently cracked a PSA 4 and sent to BVG and got an 8.5. Pretty ridiculous difference.

Mine are 2 cards:
PSA 8 --> crack/resubmit --> PSA 10 ('93 Refractors of Junior Felix & Box Tewksbury, both SP cards)
I've also had several "did not meet minimum size requirements" that --> resubmit --> PSA 9 (Oresetes Destrade, Randy Myers, Willie Greene)

I cracked and sent a 1972 GAI 7 Nolan Ryan into PSA it is now in a PSA 9 holder. My other is a 1956 YA Tittle card that SGC said was trimmed PSA graded it a 7.
<< <i>beckett 3.5 on 1954 jackie robinson (with 6-7 subs save for one u know what) cracked and resubmitted to PSA, which graded it a 6. >>
What's the "u know what"?

that's not good.. so someone's got a trimmed 9 now OR there was an error in grading.. either way, not good... bet you were happy though eh mikeschmidt? hmmmm i think i'll go look at my abandoned pile of cards that have been sent back from psa for various annoying reasons and see if any are worth resubmitting though in light of this new information...maybe they made a mistake on some of mine.. for example, they sent back a 1985 topps football star card for evidence of recoloring and i pulled that card myself from an unopened box from BBC kid and know with 100% certainty that there is no possible way it's recolored... if they say it's recolored again, would i pay grading fees on that one?
and as long as we're griping, what i really hate is when they say no holder or no spec info because someone was too lazy to find the correct holder or look up the info... then you send it back later and it goes through without a hitch.. my montana starline prototype was submitted 4 times over the course of many months to psa before i finally got them to put it in a holder.. it was really starting to drive me crazy.. very expensive and rare card weighted at 10 in the master set, and they keep sending it back saying they don't have a holder for it.. well then, why do you weight it at 10?.. eventually they put it in a regular, standard, plain old holder like all the rest of my cards.... i still scratch my head when i look at that one, but at least it's graded finally and it's scarcity makes it one of my favorite cards even though it's a pretty ugly 7.
A) The card is still in my collection, so no worries.
I agree it is generally not good. But the real question is why?
Was it because PSA made an error the first time, and now they no longer they think the card is trimmed?
Is the card trimmed, and it just 'slipped through' the second time?
I've even heard conspiracy theoriest that PSA is lately grading more cards as trimmed in order to increase their revenues on resubmit.
I definitely agree 'not good', but what does it mean? That is a whole other question.

GEM 10 to.... fake
I have another GEM 10 that would grade a 5 I bet. Gets Easy MoneyTextTextText as there is no need to grade, just pop any card or squareish piece of cardboard in there and presto. There labeler for flips is broke. Only has a 1 and 0 key.
