Actually, back when Beckett first got into the grading game, they were tougher than PSA on older cards.
Then they started grading older cards by their BVG standard which is much easier than PSA's standards. If you can find an older card graded by BGS as opposed to by BVG, you may be able to pick up a bargain.
On this particular card, however, the 7.5 grade on corners convinces me it would never be a PSA 9. PSA is brutal on corners, so it would probably end up being a PSA 8.
Looking for Jonny Gomes cards, especially Triple Threads and printing plates. Will consider all cards, though. Got something? Contact me at c_u_l_1@yahoo.com
Reminds me of a "one liner" my dad used to his friends one day and it took me years to get it.
They were sitting around bragging about how smart their children were and my dad (referenceing his "imaginary" daughter Linda for the sake of the one-liner) says: "awwww....that's nothing Linda was 8 before she was 7!"

With 7.5 corners, it may actually only be a PSA 7.
