You need to call Reed.
Pull the stars worthy of 10's and pray for a Reggie auto....
Put a bunch of sets together and sit on the rest....
It's getting nice here....nice cool nights for summer fires....you know how good 800 ct boxes burn? ....and oh the pretty colors!!
It's good cheap fun!! Plain and simple
maybe the old man can just donate it to somewhere and use it as a small tax write off.

I tore a case of 1992 Score Series II two summers ago looking for the Mantle/Mays/Snider card. Didn't get lucky - but it was kind of fun.

Only smart people like you and Bishop probably even know what you are talking about....
[I had to look it up to find the reference to the Expos card that replaced Witt.]

what is that?
also, just confirmed with the old man that the box does say something about a Reggie Auto.
Does anyone happen to have a copy of the Witt card they could scan? I've never seen one before.
If you find one of those Reggie autos, it might pay for the case. :-)
Cool assortment of "90s Elite" rookie cards here:
Albert Belle, Juan Gonzalez, Sammy Sosa, Dave Justice, Larry Walker...
But of course, it's all about the Kevin Maas and Ben McDonnald rookies!

As far as donating, the cards are worth as much open as closed for tax purposes.
I would rip it until I got bored and then donate the open and closed packs.
You seem to have had a good eye for the vintage stuff and I would imagine that you could do the same for modern.

Those Upper Deck cards have great photography.

This assumes it is a high number case. If it's a low number case, I'm only aware of two corrected errors, #478 Scott Garrelts (Bill Bathe is pictured on the error card) and #683 Mickey Weston (name on the error card is "Jamie" Weston). Unfortunately, neither is worth a great deal of money. If it is a high number case, check any checklists you pull. If #700 lists "Jamie" Weston at card #683 or if #800 lists card #702 as Mike Witt, you could be very lucky! BTW, there is also a Nolan Ryan error in the high series as well, although not as valuable as the Witt. The error has no "300th Win" stripe across the lower right of the card front.

Edited to add: I looked up the set and there are other errors in the low numbers. They are: #54 Ben McDonald (missing the Rookie Card designation on the front of the error card), #60 Mickey Tettleton Team CL (lists #683 as Jamie Weston on the error card), #89 Jim Gott (picture is Rick Reed on the error card), #562 Jeff Innis (Picture is David West o the error card), and #597 Andy McGaffigan (picture is Rich Thompson on the error card). Hope this helps!

I'll send him this thread......
maybe he'll let my boy and I tear them open.
what's the Reggie Auto worth? the 702 worth?
Thanks all!
<< <i>The Mike Witt 702 card is a card that ended up getting pulled early in the print run to make way for the "Rookie Threats" card (with Larry Walker, Marquis Grissom, and Delino DeShields).

Don't forget the Steve Avery and Kevin Appier rookies
How long have you had the case? I would guess it would go around 150$?
At that price, there would seem to be very little chance of selling.
I really like opening packs and collating a good set - perhaps with that many cards, you could put together one heck of a nice mint set?
There's a lot of entertainment in a case IMO.
