  • What is the benefit of using a sniper program? Is it that you don't want to raise the number of bids on the item, making it appear less sought after? Or is it because everyone knows that Russ is synonymous with Cha-Ching, and will therefore bid on anything you bid on?

    if so, I'd say this coin saw it's time soaking in something.
    color and exposure of wear makes me think this seller is unaware of what a BROWN uncleaned Lincoln with that much marking on the face actually looks like.
    I always ask myself this : Does it look a little off from what is NORMAL ? If the answer is yes, it will never see a PCGS, NGC, PCI, or a few other's holder. Not without disclosure, anyway.

    That's my humble opinion.


    This is not to say that a coin like this isn't worth sniping image.... after all, it's perfect for an album.
