What if I DO tape over the bar codes?

So I'm getting a bunch of cards packed up tonight and I'm doing the online USPS shipping thing. So I couldn't help but snidely wonder, What if I did tape over the barcodes? I'm using clear packing tape.

Would a Postal Worker come and kill my dog?
Would the package not get scanned?
Would the package get flagged and ultimately destroyed?
Would stone stop posting on here again?
Would that stfu guy stop bidding $8,000 on PSA 3 cards?

It did make me wonder.

I've been taping over them with no problem at all.

Clear tape will sometimes reflect the light from the scanner and not allow the item to be updated properly. I try to not tape over it but don't worry about it if I do.
