RECEIVED MY NCS COINS BACK TODAY

WELL I HAD THOSE COUPONS SO I THOUGHT WHAT THE HECK???
From my in-expensive Type Album I sent in 5 coins for Conservation and grading.
None of the 5 made it to NGC but they did get slabbed by NCS,
1800 1/2c VF DETAILS SCRATCHED, IMPROP CLND
1809 1/2c AU DETAILS OBV SCRATCHED, REV GRAFFITI
1812 1c VF DETAILS CORRODED
1850 H10C XF DETAILS IMPROPERLY CLEANED
1824 50c XF DETAILS IMPROPERLY CLEANED
Are they worth anything now???? What would you do with them??? Send them to ANACS for grading or just put them away knowing "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" ???
No matter what I still have some OLD coins that don't look all that bad to my weak eyes....
Any other thoughts?????
My scanner did a lousy job on these so I can't send pics right now

If you like them, keep them, and if not, sell them or give them away to someone who would appreciate such coins. There is no reason to spend/waste additional $ on them.
Just curious as in my experience cleaning up vf grade coins tend to make them look worse. Sometimes the dirt or toning around the devices help with the contrast.
<< <i>So do they look better after conservation? >>
They may not have been conserved.
Russ, NCNE
The other 4 look real nice.
Now that they are "properly" cleaned.
Are they saleable???? What would they be worth??? I guess what someone would pay on Ebay, right????
Could you ( and your conscience) sell any as raw and not have the buyer know they were problem coins, or are they problem coins that look less problematic?

An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor
does the truth become error because nobody will see it. -Mohandas K. Gandhi (1869-1948)
But, since they look so much better now conserved I am keeping them.
That's not to say I would not like to upgrade them. They do look much, much better with the grit and grime off them. But they are some nice looking coins if one is looking for that type.
But Ebay has enough crap coins being sold I don't want to be part of the problem.
<< <i>No, if I were to sell them I would sell them in the NCS holders with full info.

You would never be part of the problem. Crap coins are only crap when not properly described. Many crap coins would be nice coins for the right price.
THEY SURE LOOK NICER NOW AND LOOK REAL GOOD IN MY TYPE ALBUM.
MIGHT HAD A COUPLE MORE DONE JUST TO SEE HOW THEY COME BACK.
