picking his nose making 11 mil a year? We have the brains and the rest of the world has.....well...long hair and stench!

I thought the USA was going to be tougher against the Czechs. Soccer is a sport that can humble you right away. This may be a blessing in disguise. They cannot be over confident against Italy and Ghana and I think a little humbling right now can serve them better in the long run. I know a lot of people will be upset if USA beats powerhouse Italy, but at the same time, the USA will establish itself more on the international scene.
Let's not get discouraged right now. The USA can still win two matches and the Czechs could lose two.

No I think you got that wrong...THE PLAYER PICKING HIS NOSE HAS THE BRAINS...not the stupid fan who pays to watch the player pick his nose.

At least the US fans over there did not attach the Czech fans after the game. We may lose but we lost with class. (soccer fans
with class seem to be a rarity these days).

World Cup hasn't had much hooliganism in a long-time. I would take any World Cup game in terms of classiness over any Philadelphia Eagles game -- and I say this being originally from Philly-

Oct. 8. Cowboys at Eagles should be a very interesting game.

Does that apply to you too?
Vinny will even get a shot off! To finish it up, the US team will be coached by Fazoli's and all the consession stands will be surving REAL
Italian food! We have yet to confirm if Olive Garden and Carraba's will be playing center and left wing.

PS...Once Italy losses they will play in the loser bracket and will most likely square off against Ethiopia..once they beat them they will
quickly say sorry and join the other team!
One good note.
Rather than travel to Germany, France surrendered and stayed home to play with themselves.
<< <i>sagard, maybe you should limit your comments to what you perceive to be the shortcomings of US men's teams? Teams of US female athletes have done quite well in soccer, hockey, and many other sports in the past five years or so. >>
True enough. Our women have been great for the most part. The Men's Soccer showed signs of life vs. Italy as well, so at least the Ghana game is meaningful.
