Is anyone familiar with 1931 W517's ?....

I have a Dazzy Vance card that might be from this set, although I don't think so. The card looks just like the 1931 W517 of Vance, except the card number is missing from the front and on the top of the card it says "Strike Out". Otherwise it's and identical card.

Any help is appreciated...
