We have cleaned out the vagrants and have had several excellent swaps. Would like to invite some more participants. This is an excellent way to meet different collectors and learn about your forum members.

Upon said deadline Boom will pair people off as swap partners. They are responsible for contacting one another, discussing likes and dislikes, Numismatic Interests, yada, yada, yada... $50 is THE MINIMUM VOTED ON BY MAJORITY. TREAT EACH OTHER THE WAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED!!

1- This is NOT a get rid of stuff you no longer want deal. You are NOT to send your partner trash.

2- Conversely, this is not your opportunity to get someone else to go buy for you that which you cannot find or afford on your own. You are NOT to place undue stress and DEMANDS on your partner.

3- THIS IS OUR HOBBY AT IT'S GRASS ROOT'S LEVEL.... THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET NEW PEOPLE AND GET KNOWN AROUND HERE

4- this is all about having fun. Just use common sense and whatever you do talk it over with your partner exactly how you two will arrive at the agreed upon figure. $50 is the MINIMUM, but NOTHING says you cannot mutually agree on a higher value.

5- HERE'S THE BIGGIE, SO PAY ATTENTION. PROTECT YOURELVES, YOUR REPUTATIONS AND YOUR ITEMS BY AT LEAST SENDING WITH SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION OR INSURED WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMATION. ANYONE THAT STIFFS ANOTHER PERSON WILL HAVE THEIR NAMES POSTED FOR ALL TO SEE ONCE IT IS PROVEN THAT THIS INDEED HAS HAPPENED, AND HOW DO WE PROVE THIS????

By WHAT?....By shipping HOW???? BY OBTAINING A PROVEN WAY TO TRACK AND CONFIRM. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION DOES NOT MEAN YOUR PARTNER GOT THE STUFF. IT SIMPLY MEANS IT WAS DELIVERED....SOMEWHERE. This is why I advocate Signature Confirmation.

Thanks Earl. The Coin Swaps are fun and have been going smoothly now that we have weeded out all the riff raff. We're in the process of signing up for the Spring into Summer or Fathers Day Swap NOW.

Gee....I am going into the next swap, still waiting on my last one. I sent to my swap partner and they confirmed that the recieved their package and were happy with it. They tell me that mine is "on the way" so here I sit and wait patiently.........

I dont feel that "i have been screwed yet" they gave a reason why it could be late and said it be here by thursday of next week. If it aitn here by then. I WILL post in the appropriate forum and PM ya. Read my letter. I said I was PATIENTLY waiting...Ya know like a status update.....

Question:

I have some IHCs in 2x2s not slabbed. This is not a coin I'm trying to fill an album with.

I am in need of some earlier date Mercs for my album.

Would this swap set me up with someone willing to trade raw coins?
I certainly wouldn't expect, or want slabbed mercs for my raw IHCs.
I also don't have rolls and rolls. I'm talking very small trade. Maybe only .20 or .30 face.

You can certainly pm Boom with any special requests and if another forum member is set to swap, you can always request raw, slabbed or any mix.
