Resubmissions???

Does anyone ever have any luck doing this? Seems like a money maker to me. Almost as soon as a card comes back a grade someone likes, they next thing out of there mouth is to submit it again. Am I missing something here?

I do it on cards that I feel have been under graded. In the past I had jumps from 6 to 8, and when dealing with mostly player sets and cards from the 50's there is a HUGE price difference. I believe there once was a large ebayer id Shaderise that made what seemed like a living buying nice looking mid grade cards only to sell the same cards in higher grade holders.

  • and there's more than one person out there buying up 6's that someone missed something on, so they can crack them and sell them ungraded for big profits.. i've seen it happen many times

It would be very interesting to know the ratio of PSA submissions that are resubmissions vs. first timers. How much of PSA's business is based on resubmissions? Does grader "314" get huge bonuses for the resubmissions created?
  • I have heard "grader 314" more than a few times on this board. As a newbie who or what is it? Thanks
