Why would any dealer submit cards to BCCG,
other than for the sole purpose of deceiving newcomers to the hobby?
The card looks nice enough and should probably grade about an 8 by a real grading company.
SMR on an 8 is 110 bucks. Guessing the card will sell for about that.

i don't need the bad karma.. if someone else wants to report it, please feel free though
Actually, all he says is that the SMR is $3350 for a gem mint 10; he doesn't say that the card he's selling is a gem mint 10, so 'technically' he's off the hook. But I agree-- it's still pretty sleazy.
right but he doesn't say it's $3350 for a PSA gem mint 10, he just says in gem mint 10.. he's basically trying to rape some noobie collector.. very misleading, very deceptive, very slimy....
oh well i guess

I knew a dealer who used to be a pretty big submitter to PSA and he did it back in the early days. At some point along the way, he must have had a blowout with PSA because he went to all BS grading, oops, I meant BGS grading. Anyways, he was explaining a deal to me that he had with BGS. He had to send in a certain amount of cards each month to BGS for a special price and any card that would get a BGS 9, 9.5, or 10 would get put in a BGS holder. Anything that would grade lower than that would get put in a BCCG holder. That way instead of have 1000 BGS 8.5 cards, he would have 1000 BCCG 10 cards. That's how all that works.

Cool. Sounds like a good business plan.
Beckett and the dealer both know that the same card will sell for more graded a BCCG 10 than it will as a BGS 8.5.
So the dealers AND Beckett are BOTH slimy for colluding to dupe unsophisticated collectors.
Can't really blame them for maximizing their profits,
but the seller has got to know dam well that his BCCG 10 isn't equal to a PSA 10. Why quote the false SMR number?
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
guess again wolfbear... it's at $159 with 5 days left..
couldn't have said it better myself
Why quote the false SMR number?
it's paying off.. the card is already well above market value and climbing with 5 days left.. rape in progress
