looks like you got it from a pair of pliers or channelocks.

That's what I get for being lazy. I didn't feel like bringing out the tile cutting thing that I normally use.

It may sound odd, but it works like a charm.
1) Take a pair of wire cutters and clip of the two top corners, enough to make the small hole in the slab and expose the graded labels.
2) Then use (2) 2 inch screws. Begin to drive the screws into each corner, alternating between each screw.
3) You'll begin to hear the seal crack along the top.
4) At that point use a butter knife to pry open the top edge ever so slightly . Then use something to hold the slab open (a pen cap works well for me).
5) Then take your butter knife and begin sliding it along the edges of the slab. Beginning at the opening, slide the knife until it stops..and twist. You'll hear that familiar "pop" again...now insert your pen cap up to where the knife is to hold open the slab.
6) Keep repeating step 5 all around the slab.
This is the only method I use. It has worked for me every time with little to no mess. No injuries lol And best of all...never any damage to the card. I literally have my "BGS slab cracking kit" in a desk drawer, in my office lol It consists of: 1 pair wire cutters, 1 butter knife, 1 screwdriver, 2 2 inch screws and 1 Bic pen cap.
ALWAYS Looking for Chris Sabo cards!
