Ok, so following my normal routine when the mail comes, I take the packages directly to my computer desk. I have ebay open so I can mark items received and leave feedback. Well, today I open a box from 4SC, and there is nothing in the box. After a minute of disbelief I give them a call to let them know, complain, etc. The girl is friendly enough and says she will get on it ASAP. Story over, right ? WRONG !!!
Somewhere between my front door and the computer I must have gotten distracted and left the box on a table near the door. The box I opened to find nothing in was a box from 4SC that I already opened last week. Needless to say I had to make one of the single most embarrassing phone calls of my life back to the girl at 4SC to let her know just how stupid I am.

You were probably wondering why the box was so easy to open

Sounds like you need to start throwing the boxes away.

Don't do that, you might thow away a box you haven't opened yet
once i was in a major buying frenzy.. had cards coming in from everywhere.. i opened a box and there's my sets of spx cards, gold and silver.. woohooo.. was so eager to open them up and put them away that i took the sets out and tossed the empty box and packing material into the big mountain of shipping stuff i have in a back room.. well.. a couple weeks go by and i catch up and start leaving feedback.. then it dawns on me i had also purchased terry bradshaw and peyton manning autographed cards from this guy but had never got them! i was sick for a minute.. then i went and found his box and sure enough they were inside underneath one of the flaps of the box.. glad i didn't throw those away..
I have told this on here, but it has been a while. I bought a 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle PSA 5 on Ebay for $500+. They shipped the card via FedEx. I normally have items shipped to my house. For some reason, I had this one shipped to work. Anyway, I get the Fed Ex box, and take it back to my office. I open it up - EMPTY (except for the invoice). Boy, did I about lose it! I got on the phone. Since I live in the Central time zone, and the seller lives in the Pacific time zone, I had to wait about 2 hours for the seller to open. Luckily, the phone number was on the auction page. Anyway, after talking to the seller, they said that they did in fact ship the card. They said that it must have gotten stolen (even though I told them that the box did not look tampered with. After about 3 or 4 weeks of constant phone calls, I finally did get insurance money for it.
Interesting story, wasn't it? Oh yea, I almost forgot! The seller? Drumroll...............

I neatly sliced open one corner of the box last week, then neatly sliced open the other corner today.
I almost never throw boxes out, especially the ones from 4SC, they are great to reuse for shipping stuff I sell ( call me cheap ! )
