    Not quite. I think it went up over $100 in price from the level of her initial warning signal, before it came back down to the price where she made her call?image Edited to add: My apologies to Laura if I was incorrect about the timing of her warning(s).

    Guess the gold bulls underestimated the Fed's willingness to tighten us into another recession.

    Thats the concern...the EU just raised 25 bps today, so this rising interest rate phenom worldwide is causing ecomomic growth concerns worldwide ( which is negative for gold) much less equity markets worldwide...not by no means a sure thing but the concern is driving the markets, including gold and there are big profits built in which exacerbates the near term selloff...
