Submission results are in and there are now 3x PCGS MS66FB 1970-D Roosevelt Dimes (all 3 made together in one submission). The previous pop top was a MS65FB of which there were 2 pieces. The current pop is now (or will be):
MS66FB pop3
MS65FB pop2
MS64FB pop3
MS63FB pop1
All you Rosy dimes guys know how hard it is to make a 70D in FB....let alone 3 at once! Lower pop than the toughest silver coin, the 63P. Will probably sell 2 and keep 1....anyone is interested, let me know.

I'm really happy for you, and I truly mean it, but I'm very unhappy for myself. I just aquired 1 of the 1970-D MS65FB's (Which I don't even have yet) thinking it was a pop-top at (2/0) and now you post this.
My balloon has sprung a leak.

I might be interested in one of those. I will PM you.

Nick, coins were found in rolls. They were slabbed as NGC MS67FT's and all 3 crossed to PCGS MS66FB's on the 1st try.

How 'bout some pics?
and they're cold.

one of the more "common" ones, but I doubt I could lay my hands on twenty
or thirty if I spent a week on the phone.
Congratulations. This is another tough date in FB.

Dan60 and Mistercoinman:
Lets be honest. 1 of these dimes is going to J.H.F. because he has the money to pay up for it. 1, Colorfulcoins is keeping and that leaves 1. Who do you think that is going too?
Anyone who is will to part with a gallon of cash! Which leaves Dimeman and the 2 of you out!

I believe that these 3 will be eclipsed soon with 2 MS67FB's.
So I heard.

Now for Craig where are those 3 coins. Show us some Pics
anything to worry about when he sees the 70D 65FB he is getting. The value is still there
and he bought it right. I think it's an upgrade shot coin too.
I don't think 2 70D 67FB's will be made. (not even 1 will be made).
So I heard....

Ouch!! That comment hurt.
I have a 1976 MS66FB pop 2, the only two FB's for this weighted year.
I didn't pay gallons of cash for it, but I did manage to pay for it.
If Fred and I don't at least dream/try to get the nice coins we need, Then why bother to build a set?
I'm not selling them I don't think a payment plan would be offered either....
Congrats again and ...
Warm regards,

I didn't mean it to hurt, so I will say that I'm sorry. What the meaning behind the comment was that I know some of us are not made of money. I'm not.

This follows what I have said before on these forums.
You can't read a persons emotion from posts on the threads. I should have placed a wink after the ouch comment, and a smile after the last comment.
So I'll do it now...
