Cards to add to registry?

I emailed PSA and offered the suggestion that perhaps these cards could be added to the Pete Rose Registry. I know I would like to see them added....

Pete Rose:

1984 Topps Traded
1985 Topps MGR
1986 Topps MGR
1987 Topps MGR
1988 Topps MGR
1989 Topps MGR

I think PSA's policy is to only add cards from a player's playing days. As such, the manager cards might not qualify. Especially because Rose has player cards in those sets, too.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • I've read their reasonings behind only having cards from their playing days. Not sure I agree at all, but that's just me. I follow a guys career..from A-Z

And if that's the case, I feel PSA needs to be more consistant and remove the 1964 Topps Gil Hodges card from the registry then. image

    He only has player & MGR cards for '85, '86 & '87. Not '88 & '89. At a minimum, the '88 & '89 should be added if the '64 Hodges belongs image

Not to mention the '84 Topps Traded is from his playing days. Not sure if PSA has a rule on traded subsets......but then....The Will Clark and Jeff Bagwell Registries both contain Topps Traded issues from '86 and '91 respectively.

    There's that word again.....consistancy image

  • 84 Topps Traded and Traded Tiffany are in the Master set. PSA just recently removed about ten cards from the Master set due to the fact that they were MGR and not player cards. Some of which you just mentioned

Looking for 81-84 Topps Stickers in PSA 9 or better, 81 Topps Scratch offs, 83 Topps Fold outs in PSA 8 or better, 83 Fleer Stamps and 81/86 Fleer Star Stickers in PSA 9 or better.
