No... I think that's one of Doug's (uofa1285) masterpieces. >>
Ha. My little plan worked. I was afraid we wouldn't get to know who the lucky person was, so I guessed. Congrats Doug, once again, it's incredible. And Dick, one of your finest images.

The color looks very similar to that of an 1885 MS65 that I sold to a forum member two years ago. Beautiful colors. BigD5 worked as the go between, having dealt with both of us previously. Not surprisingly, BigD5 did not profit one nickel from the deal. Congrats on a lovely coin.
Grandad, that would be me and you are correct Lloyd, the 1885 is a nicer coin. Thanks again for that beautiful coin, nicest 85 in my collection. Oh, and by the way Darrins reward while not monetary was very satisfying to him.
That picture represented to me the way the coin looked in hand. I concede that the obverse is a bit out of focus but I believe everyone gets the idea of the glowing colors and underlying luster.

That's nice of you to say Lloyd, I certainly had the same thought. Even nicer of you to let me buy it.
