Between this submission and another I sent in, I had 12 71s that I submitted in hopes of a grade boost. Out of the 12, 10 improved in grade with 8 going up to an 8 from 7s and two going from qualified grades to non-qualified (7st to 7 and 8pd to 7). As I have said all along, 7s are a great investment in 71s. Many can, and should be, 8s. The last JC Martin that I saw sold on eBay in an 8 went for over 200 bucks if memoray serves. I paid 10 for my 7 and now have it rightfully in an 8 holder.

You guys keep staying away from those 7s. image

I am working on this set (slowly) in 7 form.

I have seen many, many 8s and to me, I just can't juistify the huge discrepency in price between them.

Nice job on both the bumps and on that 1974 Aaron Special.
