I found a rare one........At least the book say's so...?

Well, at least it's a hole in one........ No "Pun" intended........image I finally got my new KM Book's in, There is alot of excellent info to have. I was right though about this coin. While it's not perfect.... I suppose it still hold's some value? With a mintage of 4,750 i have to wonder how many survived? I have google'd and yahoo'ed, you name it??? I can't find anything......... Any idea's? Is it worth slabbing?

  • I don't know if anyone will slab a holed coin, but I may be wrong. NCS and ANACS used to slab plugged coins and i believe they still will, so I would argue, what's the difference?
Everything I write is my opinion.

    Looking for alot of crap.
  • I'm sure not going to plug it............. While it's not much, The hole add's to the originality of the coin.... My luck+ $ 1.00 it would probably get me a cup of coffee. But it is a cool find? Actually i have less than a dollar in it.........image ozzysdad.......

As a collector of Mexico, let me shout "Nice find!"

I haven't seen any of these sold yet, so not sure of what the price would be. Krause just lists it as Rare.

For some reason, a lot of scarce date Mexican coins seem to come with holes. Neat find.

I'll give you a cup of coffee for it. You can keep the dollar. image
