Weekly swap vs. individual SSPs.

Please refresh my memory:

Was there any kind of consensus at all on what form "For Sale" posts should take? I see the the swap threads, some of which are weekly, and some span multiple weeks, and then I see some people just posting their own SSP posts.

Are we striving towards one form or another, or is it just a general free-for-all?

Oh, and what ever happened to the request to Carol for a Darkside BST forum or subforum?

We all seem to have our own opinions on this subject. I would only create an SSP if I think that I have a special item that really deserves some extra attention, such as the British type set about 10 days ago that was accompanied by a giveaway as well (the winner of which is still missing btw). If it's regular stuff I'll post them at the swap. Right now, it's unlikely that I will post anything for sale until next fall, although there might be one or two exceptions to this around the end of the month. Summer is here and I feel saturated, I need a break from the hobby all together.


Other members prefer to regularly SSP their stuff, as long as common sense prevails I don't see anything wrong with it.Nobody's forcing anybody to open these threads. As for the Darkside BST, frankly I don't see it happening.
