Hi. I haven't got a clue. What would be the fair price for an authentic Mantle autographed ball? preferably authenticated. I want to buy one for a gift. many thanks.

UDA authenticated is most expensive - they will set you back at least $550 for the plain "Mickey Mantle" ball and at least $700 for the "Mickey Mantle No. 7" ball. They key with these is yellowing. I have owned several of these over the years and they do yellow, which will affect the value. Beware of someone selling their ball with a picture with poor lighting - it's probably to disguise the yellowing.
A PSA/DNA authenticated ball isn't as expensive since they didn't witness Mick sign it, but rather they give their opinion that he signed it. They usually sell for $350 and up.
If Mantle added a stat or phrase in addition to his signature, they will bring a premium. I used to own a ball signed, "Mickey Charles Mantle" and that sold for $900.

But Im curious about the label -- it just doesnt appear "right" to me ???
Also, the phone number of the upper deck info card shown in the photos is not the correct phone number for upper deck.
help, please.
thanks

The serial number on the ball appears to match the COA's serial number although the first "1" in "UDR19313" is worn off. These are over 10 years old, but why was it handled that much? Also the serial number sticker on the ball looks suspicious around the edges - was it reattached to another ball? The signature does look good, but I'd pass on that ball.
In regards to your question, I’m showing a different item registered under that hologram number. Please feel free to email with any other questions.
Thanks,
