Can anyone help me out here.
I won an auction from this EBAY seller who I had never did business with before. I won the card very inexpensively, and I have never heard from the seller after emailing him now twice.
The EBAY Seller name is.....midnightbaseball339
I would rather not post negative feedback. My next step is to get EBAY involved.
Has anyone ever dealt with him/her?
Thanks
Rob Ruth

don't feel bad about negativing the seller, if you're willing to remove it later when he/she corrects the issue... you paid them and are meeting your end of the deal, and are not at all out of line expecting the common courtesy of a response. Do not accept a refund if you should be getting a deal on a card, make them come through with the card they promised or you probably should negative them AND report them to ebay..
that's my 2 cents.. you do however run the risk of retaliatory negative feedback if the seller is a jerk, and lots of them are.. before leaving negative feedback, i always check first if the seller has left feedback for me yet.. if they have, then you are risk-free; slam that non-shipper at will and warn other buyers.. then, i check their feedback left for others.. you can get a pretty good idea of a seller's habits and personality by digging through their feedback..
now, depending on what you paid for the item, sometimes i find it's best to just look at the "big picture" and swallow your pride on some of the smaller deals.. You have no idea how many positive feedbacks i have given that in all honesty should have been flaming profanity-laced negatives followed up by a knocking on their door.. does it leave a bad taste in my mouth to give someone positive feedback for raping me on shipping, sending me poorly cared for cards that were falsely described as "mint", and generally being a slimy weasel?? YES, more than you know.. but i'm afraid it's simply a fact of life for collectors.. like i said, you have to look at the big picture and your collecting goals as a whole.. this one bad transaction, while very annoying, is just a tiny bump in the road on your way to achieving your goals.. if it's under $10 total, i'd say write it off and move on...... dealing with bad sellers is a necessary evil.. don't sweat the petty stuff etc.. that's my opinion.

I haven't dealt with that seller before, but he does have clean feedback, so I wouldn't want to conclude too quickly that he's intentionally blowing you off or that he doesn't plan to send you the card. Your post doesn't say, but I assume you've already made payment. (Or are you emailing him trying to get information about how and where to send payment?) My rule of thumb is that if an item doesn't arrive within 10 days of payment, that's when I start sending emails to the seller asking if it's been shipped, etc. If there's no response and no item by the 14-day mark, that's when I would consider filing a report with eBay and, depending on how that goes, leaving a negative.
How long has it been since you paid for it?
When I said I have never heard from the seller, that is what I meant.
I have no way of being able to send him a check. The item is unpaid for, and I still have yet to receieve an invoice from him. THat is what is really ticking me off. If didn't want the card to sell so low, he should have put a reserve on the card.
So, no the card is not yet paid for, I have not gotten the invoice from them yet to even be able to pay for the card.
Thanks for your advice.

Oh, OK. That is a pain. Did you try using the eBay checkout?
Don't give him a negative yet.
Did you request invoice amount from ebay?
How long has it been since you won the item?
Give him a polite phone call.
Maybe he's on vacation? Maybe he's got some spam filters? who knows.
or of course, maybe he doesn't want to sell you the card for dirt.
'Seller's payment instructions
I expect to hear from the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction end. I expect payment within 7 days of auction end. All non paying bids will result in a negative feedback and a non-paid report to Ebay. I will combine shipping on multiple auctions. Sorry I will not accept personal checks. Paypal Preferred.'
As long as you've been on the ball with emailing him, I don't think you have much to worry about.
Keep us posted!

The seller has 100% feedback. I would not give him a negative. He has that feedback for a reason. Anything could had happen to cause him not to reply. If he didn't want to sell it at that price he would had put a reserve price on it.
Feedback, at this point, is not called for, nor do I believe it will move this issue in a resolvable direction.
I try to give everybody the benefit of the doubt, if, for no other reason, to spare my own sanity.

Heard from the seller, and it turned out he was on vacation.
Case closed, and check is in the mail.
Thanks again
