New Walker Added ... Sacrilege to Barber Fanatics

Few - if any - collectors know I have a choice AU ( mostly raw ) set of Walking Liberty Halves. I just upgraded my ICG AU 53 for this NGC 55.

Fewer collectors realize that this date - 1920-D - is probably the MOST underrated date in the whole set.

Nice score! The 1920-D is incredibly scarce in problem-free VF20 and above. Folks who are interested in this series might do well to send supertooth a PM since he likely knows more about circulated WLHs than most of us know about our favorite series. My 1920-D is an original VF25.

    Mike,

Nice coin and yes, very tough in mid to upper circulated grades. When ever I assemble wlh sets for folks I always have a tough time finding this date.

Nice coin Mike.........nothing wrong with branching out now and then. I'm always on the lookout for nice keys and semi-keys, in collector grades, for my type set.
