Darksider Message Board Auction?

What do you guys think about hosting a weekly or monthly auction to go along with the weekly buy/sell/swap thread?

I would be happy to host it on my website, I can provide space for description, image (reasonably sized), and so forth. I could update it once a day in the evenings when I get off work (it would be around 6 PM CT). I can link it in with the current thread so it won't cause any more thread issues for those that get bothered by it. After the auction closes, it would just be up to the two members to contact each other to work out payment/shipping.

If I ever get called out of town, I would let everyone know in advance.

Just an offer to see what people think. Might be fun.

Sounds like a good idea, and the offer is appreciated. My only reservation would be how much/little traffic would be there, and that's a very important issue with auctions.

I think that is a great idea, especially IF there were more people who had the types of coins I needed for my collection

Perhaps it will be nice if people post a list of coins that they are looking for. That way, it might save a lot of hassle of who's looking for what, and who's selling - although it might be tricky how you are going to design such page.
