I see there is a bunck of red in a number of different Medcury dime sets.

Let's all have fun and maybe you can add your comments on you additions or upgrades.

VAM44 found 4 for me and it didn't take long for them to find there way into my sets.

I got an 18-S from Ken "Fairlaneman" and a 1924 on ebay.

    I picked up a 1919 64FB, and a 1923 65FB over the last few weeks. I still need a 1921 in MS63

    Mercury dine?
    When in doubt, don't.
  • I picked up a 1918-S and 1921-D -- both MS64FB -- from Heritage....and damned if I'm not STILL #10 on the list.
I guess I'm just going to have to get a 1916-D in order to move up the ladder. I also need the 1945-P in FB.
I've got everything else, but I will have to upgrade those 63FB and my 1923-S MS62FB eventually.
  • RomanMercury,

You get your 16-D and I will wave as you move past and bump me out of #8. My humble collection of Mercs has been developed over the years with a high school principal's budget while paying child support. This is as far as I can go with the high-fliers in front of me. Those are some fine collections numbers one through seven. I am going to retire and take up coin photography and put my little beauties on display. I would love to see some pics of your fabulous collection!

    Go for it!

I am glad to see some of the mercury dime collectors are still having fun and enjoying each others company.

  • Pat,

I see you added a couple to your Late Date Merc Set. You're going to push me out of #14 if you keep it up!

Right now my first goal is to fill the holes in my basic set, but some upgrades are available at the right price and are just too good pass up.

Doesn't look like you have many holes left to fill, Pat. All the way up to #18, I see! Nice work!

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Just added my 1923-S MS65FB that was graded today.
    I don't have pics yet.
