Yesterday, an auction for a 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth PSA 7 #53 S/N 09005660 ended with a high bid price of $14,150.00, a
reasonable high bid price. Here's the link:

Today, I see an auction for the same exact card (S/N 09005660) but with a different scan. Here's the link:

The fraudulent auction has a BIN price of $8,000.00, truly a good deal if legitimate. The seller lives/resides in Lake Forest,
which is about 10 minutes from where I live. I've emailed him asking him if we can arrange for local pickup if I use the
BIN option. I'm curious to see what he/she says.

It's the same scan. The fugazi seller just uploaded the pics thru eBay and they are smaller. Check out the scan of the front of the card, it has the same tilt, the black backgrond on the lower left is a match.

These people are crazy.

The bogus Babe Ruth auction sold with buy it now, I talked to the buyer and he's not going to pay. He said he thought he saw that card months ago at a memory lane auction.
