That is one expensive 1.

A PSA 1 sold for crazy money last night. I had been watching this card the whole week to see how many bidders would hit it. This is a very rare card and probably one of three that exists.
I don't know how to do a link, but here is the item number: 8817337471

I think Konstanty will close even higher. And I'm not sure where Roberts will even start at, as that is the prize of the lot [all equally rare, but one is HOFer]

these might go even higher.....but not as high as the Roberts will likely bring.

Murcer- where have you been? Those are very cool. Give me a call tonight to catch up.
I know there are two other 1968 Topps 3-d cards that aren't cataloged - Brooks Robinson and McDowell? but I had no idea about these.

    Sotheby's.

Dang! I was invited to a reception in three weeks for their card auction, but my wife already asks too many questions ;-)

Find a way to go. They treat you very nicely at the reception.

You wont be seeing the other two - they were just sold privately, unfortunately not to me though. That blows.

  • Hey Bob, How many of those cards do you have stashed away? I would guess you have at least a few of the sets.image

    Holy Crap!
Eric, any more info on the Konstanty and Roberts? Whose were they, and how much did they go for?

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • Wasn't there some mention of a '68 ('67?) Topps 3-D Bart Star card? Love to see a scan of that one someday.
