NGC Ancients?

Hi all,

I know ancient collectors do not like slabs - but indulge me.

I know ICG slabs ancients. I have recently seen ads in Coin World from J Kerns advertizing NGC slabbed ancients. Is this new? Does NGC still certify ancients? Or is ICG the only real game in town for certified ancients?

Thanks,
Greg

I believe NGC slabs ancients for certain customers, not everyone.

I understand NGC will slab ancients, but only if you submit 100 of the same type.

The NGC slab is very Generic in Attribution and I prefer the ICG slab myself.

    Nice coins JZ.

I agree on the ICG holder, not only it is much better looking, it is also more suitable for this kind of coins, you get at least an illusion of the edges.
