E-Bay sniper programs

Can you guys tell me what the best programs there are out there. I've seen a bunch of them, but I don't really want to pay all that much for one because I'm not going to use it that much. Could someone recommend one for me.

Thanks
Dave

I use auctionsniper.com. It's 25c for a successful snipe. My only complaint is that they frequently place the snipe too early.

I just use one of those atomic clocks. eBay is synchonized perfectly with it. Sure, I have to be there manually bidding still, but I don't eBay all that much.

Vrane.com is free if you're only bidding on one auction at a time. They also seem to bid soon, about 6 sec. before auction end I think. You can snipe manually better than that, so I only use Vrane for not important bids.

  • I use TurboSnipe. It will do multiple auctions and you set how many seconds before end of auction you want to snipe. The only problem I've had is when I had two auctions ending within seconds of each other. The program didn't have enough time to recover from the first snipe to put in the bid on the second auction. Here's link to TurboSnipe:

Do a search for Ebay Buyertools... or just go HERE.

The snipe program is free... and you can tell it when to kick it in as close as 1 second until completion.

    Hope this helps!

I have used Auction Sentry for years and can say the author is very good about supplying free updates. eBay is constantly changing the signon requirments. Vrane os an excellent free choice if your doing one snipe at a time.

I use Auctionsniper. I only set it to place snipes when I am not home though. Otherwise I sit with an atomic clock and do it manually. I have to tell you though.. this is the best link for signing up at Auctionsniper ----> Auctionsniper.com

    << <i>I use auctionsniper.com. It's 25c for a successful snipe. >>

Only for auctions ending at less than $25. From there it goes up to almost $10 for a successful snipe.

For auctions ending over about $50, PhantomBidder is much more cost effective.

Note that there's no law against using both image.

i use esnipe. They charge 1% percent on wins only. They give you a two week free trial also. You can set your own amount of time before the snipe bid. image

I use esnipe - i won one last night with them as well. I find using these programs is good in that I can place bids as soon as I see something I want to bid on, then forget about it. With these types of programs, you don't need to "watch" an auction either. Esnipe lets you change the time that it bids to, the default is 6 seconds.

My experience with Vrane is that it tends to place the bid with 7 seconds left. I will say that I have never lost an eBay auction that I intended to win while using Vrane.

I use auctionmagic by PC techzone.
One time software cost around $15.
No charges for sniping. Free updates.
You can set it to snipe 1 sec before auction end.
  • How do I get the snipe program on buyer tools??? IS buyer tools free?
