Hair in Accented Hair PCGS slab - PIC Added

I recently sold a PR67 Accented Hair Kennedy Half. The buyer just emailed me today that he wants to return it for refund because there is a human hair inside the slab. I told him, no problem, I'll refund your money (was regretting I even sold it). Will PCGS reslab this for me for free since they obviously are the ones at fault for getting a hair in the slab?

    I would imagine PCGS would remove hair and reslab for free.

    You'd probally end up with a minimum wage monkey rather than a grade image

    The hair most likely came in the slabbing room image

    Here's the pic I had on ebay sale. Notice the hair on reverse that begins at "U" in United and then curves left and down. I never saw it when I owned it.

    And all this time I thought the hair was in there to "accent" the slab. That's why it's called "Accented Hair".

    I had a coin slabbed and it had a hair in it. PCGS made good.

    I'd say leave it in there - it now has some character.
