  • I don't understand that pic with the glassware. Is that to show the reflections in the cameo?

I think that would be the least of my worries buying this coin but maybe he was going for the art deco look? image
  • Based on Liberty's shaving acne in the photo, I suspect that it *might* make 64, if nothing else is hidden by the crap photography.

64 at best, based on the cheek marks. PL or cleaned is possible as well.

How do two or more bidders team up to prevent fraud that having a private auction will prevent?

It's at $18.99 now, probably about what it's worth.

But with 3 days remaining. Most of my action is in the last 2 hours.
  • It's not an MS64.....can't you read it's guaranteed to be an MS69 image

Which does not exist. It would be the first of its kind. I don't even think they have 68s in that coin. If I were that positive I'd get it slabbed myself. A PCGS coin at that rating would probably sell for millions.

    Wow.

Who does this person think he/she is kidding? Well, I guess 4 bidders have been fooled at this point of the auction.

    Shameful.

And wtf is up with that stupid crystal thing in the first picture? I hate ebayers who show a coin next to figurines or flags or fruit. Just dumb.
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

When the first four or five lines of an auction start out justifying and explaining that a private auction
will somehow 'help' the bidders, uhhhimage

The Morgan is in the what appears to be a Fortress of Solitude....guarded by Cats from the east and cheap crystal to the North and West.
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.
  • Well, considering there are only 12 MS69's in the whole series (5 of them are 1880-S) one would figure the bid would be way more than it is....MS69 my flying A$$....
