GregTheGreat...

I wonder what he's up to these days. He was always such a promising young man, I hope that he is still selling numismatic material to the unwashed masses.

I thought he wanted a stapler, not staples, no? image I must say that at least he tried to get on thr right boat. Just some things were not done quite right, but he did try. And, I hope he is doing well.

I've been opening threads lately where the author is lazily using the initial GTG to indicate a guess the grade topic, when GTG has always been reserved for GregTheGreat threads. Please people, spell out guess the grade to avoid confusion. That is all. Oh, and I hope he replies to this thread.

Anyone ever meet him in person?

Whoa. The first time I read that, I thought it said "in prison"

I have met a guy named Greg the Fairly Good.... But not the real GTG.

No. Which further supports my long-standing theory that GregTheGreat is really David Hall's alt ID on the forum. image

He still hangs on RCC I believe, and I think he also hangs out Here as well.
  • At almost the exact same time as the Superior debacle, I had grabbed 3 Washies on ebay, sellers name is 'ctgreatone'...I honestly thought it was him from go, judging by the name only. Listed all 3 at 0.99 BIN (PCGS '95-P in 66, PCGS '73-P in 66, and NGC '70-P in 66) ...obviously listed wrong...but thinking it was him, pushed it a bit and he coughed them up for the 0.99 each. When I got the package, sure enough, the guy sent a card and his name was Greg (cant remember the last name, but his wifes name was on the card also). Some kind of salesman or something for a winery in CA...been on ebay since Feb '02, with 100% feedback on over 400 left for him...I sure hope it was him as I felt payback was due him for what he did out here...if it wasnt him, then just one more day in the fiery pits for me. So, if someone knows who this 'ctgreatone' is and can tell me it ISNT him, I dont know if I'd feel better or worse, but at least I'd know for sure. I do have a feeling it is him though...but I have been wrong before.............

ctgreatone is not him. He is a member here and a standup guy to do business with. I would feel like pond scum for ripping his BINS for 99c.
  • OK, now that the hammer has fallen, would someone who knows what ctgreatone's forum handle is, please PM me...PLEASE
