2004 Dime error

Hello
I have found a dime that appears to have the last digit missing in the year. When I used a magnifying glass I could pick out the faint outline of a 4. It is from the Denver mint. I was wondering if this error has been reported/found before. I have been able to find no info on it anywhere I have searched. I am unable to get a good picture or scan of it to include. There are no scratch marks on the coin.

Thanks
